Before and After Nothing

this started out as a before-and-after wednesday post

but, due to its lame-ness, i have opted to spare you the pain and suffering 

it is now a before-and-after nothing post  

besides, it's not really the before that matters, nor the after

it's what you do in the middle that counts

"and they all lived happily ever after" does not make a story

nor does the "once upon a time"

in life

in work

in hobbies

in struggles

in dreams

in aspirations

in pain

in pleasure

we look forward to the "after", the end, the completion

a good friend told me otherwise

don't force it

the after will come 

enjoy the interim.

For those of you who have no clue what I just said, or would rather sniff glue and eat paste than read that again, I give you...

Excellent post! Very thought-provoking... and true. What I'm finding more and more, though, is how important it is to verbalize or write out these types of thoughts. Eventually, they start to become reality. Take care!
